Hello hello,
Welcome to May! Also welcome to cold weather, which is the best type of weather for me to be hunkered down in my warehouse! And I am about to be hunkered down in my little warehouse for new art projects are on the cards, but they are still in the can’t-quite-describe-the-without-vague-ranting-and-waving-arms… so I just leave it with new art is a-happening, and will go into further details as the year progresses!
What have I been creating in the last few months? Well, actually not much art, My beautiful old wonderhound, Lewis, got sick and died – and during these months, I decided that art making was definately not as important as puppy snuggling – and then I made some art just for me because I was (and still am) pretty damn sad about the loss of my wonderhound.
Where to spy some of my art? Well, currently some of my snails are up in the Mulgrave library. 6 of them are there on the walls, and will be there until the end of May. This does bring me much joy!
I have also decided that I need to have a bit of a studio clean up and clean out. I will be posting art works that are for sale over the next month on social media. So if you have ever thought a wall of yours needs some (or some more) of my art – please check out my instagram, facebook or twitter for the posting of the art (will be listing one piece daily). If there is a piece of mine, that you do think would be delightful on your wall, that I don’t list – please send me a message and I will let you know if it is available or not!
Onwards for more art adventures,
Cheers,
Georgia
