Hello lovely people!
Spring is almost here! Which means delightful painting outside for me! Whilst painting outside at my warehouse means I get to look at all the surrounds scrap yards – I had my first outdoor painting time yesterday and it was delightful!
So what happened for me over winter? The main event was taking part in a Raw Art showcase at the end of June, which was a hoot and I got to chat to some wonderful folks (hello to those who joined up on my mailing list then!) The lead up to the showcase, saw me being a busy little beaver – who became a little snail obsessed! I am still painting snails, but I have calmed it down a little.
I had a great time at the showcase, and so when the opportunity came up again recently to do another one, I jumped at the change! It is Thursday 24th of August (sorry about the very short notice) at the Melbourne Pavilion from 7pm-10pm. For more details go to: www.rawartist.org. Tickets are available online or at the door. I will be showing a range of paintings – some of have been in prior exhibitions and some are being exhibited for the first time. For a sneak peek of some of my new painting are below (yes, see the snail obsession does continue).
The other exciting news I have, is my website now has an e-store! It is found at my website: www.georgia-laughton.com. As my little e-store is a work in progress, if you have had your eye on sometime I have created and don’t see if there please just drop me a line and I will see what I can do! Selected paintings of mine are also still available through 100th Gallery.
Until my next art filled rant, may your days be grand! For me its onwards and upwards onto some new art ideas.
Cheers, Georgia.
